Hi guys,
my name is Stephanie and I'm from Germany but right now I'm living in London for 3 months to do an internship and improve my English. Well of course I'm also here to see new things, to get to know the British culture and to make memorable experiences. Maybe some of you, who are from England or the UK could help me while giving me tips what I shouldn't miss? Because I'm a student I can't spend a lot of money and that's why I would prefer some cheap insider tips =)
I've already visited several sights for instance: the London Zoo, St. Paul's Cathedral and the Tower Bridge! On the internet I've found a website discountbritain.net offering 20 % discount on these sights. That's a really good advantage to me because the London sights are very expensive.
So I would be glad about getting some answers from you!

Hi Stephanie!

I lived in England for a while - I posted a link just now in this forum for cheap "2 for 1" offers in London. They are really good - especially if you have a friend to go round and visit places with you. (If you cant find the link, just Google 2 for 1 London offers)

I always liked to visit the East Midlands as well while I lived in England - its so beautiful there! I always found London a bit "too rushed" at times. Sherwood forest for example is the ideal place to switch off and relax! They have quite a few events going on as well so check out the website Smile

I quite liked to go down to Brighton as well (its only 45-60 mins by train from London) its by the sea, very colorful and just generally a great place to explore!

I hope this helps Smile feel free to email me if you have further questions!
